Pirlo on coronavirus outbreak at Inter: In some ways they were lucky
Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo commented on the information about the outbreak of coronavirus in the camp of Inter.
“Our goal is to put pressure on Inter, and that can only be achieved by winning every match. They don’t play this weekend, I know that their match against Sassuolo has been postponed. The decision was not the same as in other cases.
Unfortunately, this situation has developed at the right moment for Inter – they will not release players to the national teams, which will allow them to better prepare for the next matches. In a way, Inter have been lucky,” Pirlo was quoted by Sport Mediaset as saying.
Recall that Danilo D’Ambrosio, Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrey and Matias Vecino were infected with the coronavirus at Inter. Because of this, Serie A postponed the match between the Milan club and Sassuolo.
Earlier we talked about how Inter Milan was created.
